Chelsea and Atletico Madrid strikers miss out on Spain squad

Vicente Del Bosque has picked his 25-man provisional Spain squad for Euro 2016 and with some high profile strikers absent.
Despite Fernando Torres' impressive season, helping Atletico Madrid reach the Champions League final, he has been omitted. While Diego Costa, who's struggled for fitness. Manchester United's Juan Mata also fails to make the cut.
Del Bosque has suggested the Chelsea striker has been excluded due to questions over his fitness, while Mata's patchy form cost him his place in the side.
"We have weighed everything up," the Spain boss told the press. "We do not want to call up too many people with doubts over their fitness.
"I'm sorry about Mata. There is lot of competition. We can't bring them all, we just bring those most useful."
The Serie A representatives will be Napoli's Jose Callejon, Fiorentina's Borja Valero andJuventus' Alvaro Morata.

Midfielders: Alcantara (Bayern Munich), Busquets (Barcelona), Fabregas (Chelsea), Iniesta (Barcelona), Isco (Real Madrid), San Jose (Athletic Bilbao), Koke (Atletico Madrid), Saul (Atletico Madrid), Silva (Manchester City), Soriano (Villarreal).
