A brother of Henry Okah, jailed leader of the Movement For
The Emancipation of Niger Delta Charles Okah has escaped from Kuje Prison in
Abuja.
Our source gathered this morning that he escaped from Kuje prison around 7:30 pm Nigerian time last night and authority discovered early this morning but we are waiting to confirm the authenticity of this report.

Okah
has been on trial for the 2010 Independence Day bombing that killed 27 people
during the country’s 50th independence anniversary. The escape happened around
7:30 pm and he reportedly jumped the prison walls with another inmate.
