Christian students wear chior robes to school, Governor Rauf Aregbesola threatens to expel them

Some students wore choir robes to school in reaction to court ruling that Muslim female students should wear hijab to school.

Osun state governor, Gov. Rauf Aregbesola reacted to the news that christian students wore choir robes to schools saying students who wore unauthorised cloths to schools in the state will be expelled henceforth. According to him, it was wrong and criminal for a section or group of people to have directed some innocent students to wear choir robes to schools against court’s judgment.

He urged whoever was not satisfied with the judgment to ventilate the grievance through legitimate means rather than trying to cause crises by resorting to self help. Aregbesola also stated that the Government is not interested in any religion as being speculated and his goal is to improve education standard in the state.’
